What is the registration fee?
Unlike some agencies we don’t charge a registration fee. There is no charge to you until you have selected your au pair or nanny. Back to top
What is the placement/introduction fee?
There is no cost to you until you have selected your au pair or nanny. The agency placement fee is $850 for a four to six month au pair placement. There is a fee reduction for au pair placements under four months, and for placements over six months the fee is $1050.
In the event where an au pair wishes to extend their stay (over 6 months) a $300 Agency Extension Fee is payable.
For au pairs already in Australia, the fee is payable within five days of the au pair commencing working with your family. For 'pre-select' au pairs, the fee is payable on confirmation and acceptance of your au pair. Back to top

What pocket money do I pay an au pair?
In addition to providing accommodation and meals, au pairs receive weekly pocket money.
We follow the market rates for au pairs. As a guide, families are currently paying their au pairs $250 for between 30 and 35 hours per week. To break it down, the weekly pocket money is from $7 to $10 per hour depending on the au pair’s experience. The hourly rate is very cost effective compared to other childcare options.
A $500 Completion Bonus (or thank-you bonus) is payable to the au pair after a 6 month stay with your family. Back to top
What pocket money do I pay a demi pair?
In addition to providing accommodation and meals, as a minimum, weekly pocket money of $150 for 20 hours work per week should be paid. Demi pairs are only suitable for families who require late afternoon or evening help and their English can be at a basic level. Back to top
What wage do I pay a nanny?
Depending on the experience of the nanny $10-$12 per hour for live-in nannies or $20-$25 per hour for live-out nannies. Back to top
Do au pairs receive holiday pay?
Yes, after your au pair has worked with your family for 6 months, au pairs are entitled to 1 week’s paid holiday. Back to top
